Elk City saw need for a new 130-acre industrial park, spending about $2 million to buy the land and install infrastructure.  Elk City has also upgraded its airport terminal and runway, the site where corporate oil and gas planes land daily.

The City of Sayre has a Business Park and an Industrial Park located at the interchange of I-40 and Highway 283.  Utilities and streets are in place and ready for immediate location.  Airport is seven miles south on Highway 283.
